Welcome to LACRC

The Los Angeles Caregiver Resource Center serves family caregivers of a brain impaired or frail, older adult in LA County. We are a nonprofit organization housed in the University of Southern California at the Andrus Gerontology Center. LACRC is part of a statewide system of 11 Caregiver Resource Centers that serve the state of California and is funded in part by the California Department of Mental Health, the LA County Area Agency on Aging, and the USC Davis School of Gerontology. Other revenue is provided by foundations, grants, and private donations

LACRC offers resources, information, support groups, counseling, family consultations, respite, workshops, classes, web-based resources (link2Care), retreats and legal and financial consultations. All services and programs are free or low cost.

Family caregivers who reside in Los Angeles County are eligible for some or all of the services. Our mission is to help families and communities master the challenges of caring for adults with brain impairing conditions, such as Alzheimer's disease, stroke, Parkinson's and traumatic brain injury.
